A rare genuine miniature Jackfield Staffordshire Spaniel. This less than pint-sized pup is an excellent example of the Jackfield style of Staffordshire dog popular in the 1860s. Small bits of the iconic red clay can be seen on this piece. This piece is in excellent condition for its age with a few minor and very small chips in the glaze that can be seen in the photos.
