A Victorian Staffordshire figure depicting the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus on top of a Holy Water stoup. Lovely detail and coloring on the faces of Mary & Jesus. The rest of the figure is cream with some gilt details on Mary’s dress.
SIZE 15"H by 5.5"W by 4"D.
Good antique condition commensurate with age. Some paint worn away on the faces of Mary & Jesus and the saints on the stoup. Some imperfections and crazing due to the age and the firing process. Please review the pictures carefully as they form an integral part of the description.
