Lobster Sardine Dish. Likely mid to late 1800s. Lovely hand-painted lobster relief lid on top of a cream basketweave dish with gilt edges.

Good vintage condition commensurate with age. Signs of use, especially inside the dish where the glazing has become stained. Light wear in the painting on the lid. Some of the guilding has worn away.
