Lobster Relief Majolica Stoneware Sardine Dish. Likely mid- to late-1800’s. Lovely hand-painted lobster relief lid on top of a cream basketweave dish with gilt edges. 8 inches long, 7 inches wide.
Good vintage condition commensurate with age. Signs of use, especially inside the dish where the glazing has become stained. Light wear in the painting on the lid. Some of the guilding has worn away.
